I made this to put on a Christmas card for my family. I know robins are more traditional, but long-tailed tits are very pretty and don't get enough attention.
I used this [link] as a reference (I would advise that you look at it because it's a very nice picture that I totally failed to do any justice to). I know that the branch it's sitting on is disgraceful, and I didn't even try to put the detail of the feathers in. This is because I am lazy. Any tips on quick and easy ways of drawing twigs and feathers would, of course, be appreciated. Time: somewhere around 4 hours (I actually made an attempt at timing myself for once!) Medium: Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 My 2nd piece on Photoshop that I've managed to get myself to complete. I'll finish all those other bits and bobs some day... |
